Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £37k-£42k
Duties
* Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in industrial, commercial and residential buildings
* Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning units
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems
* Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary
* Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and operation of systems
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
* Work on own initiative or as part of a team
* Work will be mainly in the Midlands, may require travel; weekend working and occasional overnight lodging may be required
* Applicants must live within 25 miles of Leicester and have their own hand tools
Skills
* Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components
* Mechanical aptitude and understanding of HVAC principles
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
* Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with air conditioning units
* Skilled in equipment repair, maintenance, and replacement
* Detail-oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
