We are looking for a full time hotel receptionist, aged 18 or over to ensure our guests receive a warm, friendly and personalised welcome to our hotel. The role will cover 5 days from 7 including weekends. Shifts to be covered are 7.30am to 4.00pm and 4.00pm to 11.30pm. Candidates must be able to to work both shifts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be capable of working on their own initiative, computer literate, organised and have a professional manner.
Duties include but not limited to:
* Dealing with enquiries
* Checking guests in and out
* Taking payments and ensuring accuracy of guest bills
* Assist guests with any requests for information, bookings and directions
* Answering, screening and directing calls
* Replying to emails in a timely, courteous and professional manner
* General administrative and clerical support
* Dealing with complaints and problems that may arise quickly and efficiently
* Tidy and maintain the reception area
