A well-respected and inclusive secondary school in Yeovil is seeking a qualified and committed SENCO to lead the provision for SEND students across the school. This is a key leadership post with the potential to make a profound impact on student outcomes and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the identification, assessment and provision for SEND students
* Lead the EHCP process and liaise with families and external agencies
* Coordinate in-class and targeted interventions across subjects
* Train and support teaching and support staff in best SEND practice
* Be a visible and proactive member of the safeguarding and wellbeing team
Essential Requirements:
* QTS and National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete it)
* Experience supporting students with a range of additional needs
* Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive pedagogy
* Excellent communication, leadership, and administrative skills
* Enhanced DBS check required
