Outreach Worker - Behaviour & Inclusion Support
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working closely with a specialist alternative provision in Birmingham to recruit an Outreach Worker to support pupils who are currently unable to attend mainstream education. These are young people with complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, trauma, or behavioural barriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 support to students
- Build meaningful relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement
- Act as a trusted adult, motivator, and mentor
- Work closely with families, key workers, and the wider pastoral team
- Record student progress and communicate effectively with school staff
- Ensure safeguarding and risk protocols are followed at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Background in youth work, pastoral support, mentoring or SEMH environments
- Experience working with disengaged or vulnerable young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
