Job Description
* Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Proactively chase overdue accounts and resolve outstanding payment issues.
* Maintain accurate records of credit control activities and customer interactions.
* Generate and distribute regular statements and reports for internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address account discrepancies.
* Assess and mitigate credit risks by analysing customer creditworthiness.
* Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Credit Controller will have:
* Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting function.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Confidence in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
* An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
