VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a Manufacturing company in Newry to recruit a Finance Administrator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a dynamic and supportive team, with a particular focus on cash allocations and transactional finance. What You'll Do

As Finance Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team across a range of transactional activities, with a particular focus on cash allocations and bank reconciliations. Your responsibilities will include:

5. Allocating incoming payments accurately to client accounts
6. Posting and printing cheques as part of the daily finance process
7. Maintaining accurate records across multiple bank accounts
8. Managing daily bank reconciliations and monitoring treasury activity
9. Processing direct debits and handling internal fund transfers
10. Setting up and tracking international and multi-currency payments
11. Liaising with banks and resolving payment issues promptly
12. Monitoring and actioning the shared finance inbox
13. Supporting internal teams with financial reporting and compliance
14. Ensuring all financial tasks are completed to deadline and audit standards

About You

15. Minimum of 2 years' experience in finance administration, accounts support, or a similar role
16. Strong background in cash allocations and reconciliations
17. Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
18. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records
19. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP or finance systems preferred
20. Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused attitude
21. Experience handling foreign currency or international payments is a plus
