Lead Systems Analyst

This role is permanent with a starting salary of £42,884 a year, rising to £46,870 a year after key competencies of the role are met. As we expand to meet demand there are opportunities for career growth in many technical and management directions so there is room for you to forge your perfect job.
Reporting to the Innovation Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the Technology & Innovation team in the successful delivery of designing and developing applications to enhance business functions
We’re looking for an experienced senior developer who will offer support and technical development for our in-house application landscape and the support of our current 3rd party applications.
As part of an organisation wide transformation programme, Elevate, you will have the opportunity to deliver key technology improvements during the journey to modernise our technology stack and applications supporting the organisation services.
Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
1. Assisting the organisation to understand business requirements before translating them into application and operational solutions.
2. Pro-actively delivering customer support for line of business applications, identifying common issues, developing and implementing appropriate solutions and recommending training where applicable.
3. Managing the delivery and testing of work packages to ensure successful delivery of the project plan using Azure DevOps.
4. Developing, implementing and maintaining programmes as specified for the implementation, delivery and project management of software solutions.
5. Assisting with the design and implementation of the Technology & Innovations’ short-term and long-term strategic plans to ensure the organisation maximises its investment in technology.
6. Leading, mentoring and supporting the team to enable them to effectively perform their expected duties.
About you
7. You’ll have previous experience in a senior developer role or demonstrate readiness for progression.
8. You’ll have broad technical knowledge with experience in researching new technologies and bringing recommendations to the business on appropriate solutions.
9. You’ll be experienced and passionate about software development and/or implementation of software into a large organisation.
10. You’ll have ability and confidence to explain technical matters to non-technical people.
11. You’ll have the ability to make good decisions, whilst working under pressure.
12. You’ll display effective and resilient leadership, creating strong direction, delivering a high-performance culture that promotes inclusiveness and effective teamwork.
13. You’ll have the confidence to build and maintain the highest possible standard of internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
Criteria for Role
14. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
15. Experience with the following tech stack, C#, Sql, SSRS. .Net Framework, DevOps, PowerBi, Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint development.
16. Working in a team with direct exposure to customers understanding product lifecycles
About the role
Some of the duties of the Lead Systems Analystinclude:
17. Act as lead within the Technology and Innovation service maintaining our current in house developed applications to ensure that they are meeting business requirements.
18. Collaborating with internal stakeholders at all levels across organisation, adopting a customer focused approach in the integration of solutions various data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, and other Microsoft services.
19. Be a technical expert in application delivery to streamline business processes and automation
