The Role
* Advising students on the financial support available to them
* Assisting students in making applications for financial support and bursaries
* Working in partnership with other college staff, students, parents, employers and other stakeholders to raise awareness of support funding
* Undertaking administration for applications and payments to relevant parties
What are we looking for?
Minimum level 2 or equivalent qualification in literacy and numeracy and relevant work experience including significant experience of a customer service background.
Understanding of financial support available to FE and HE students.
Ability to work in a highly organised, methodical and accurate manner to deal with a demanding workload, achieve deadlines and targets, and work as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexibly (including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required), particularly during peak admissions and enrolment periods.
