What you’ll be doing:
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality insights and analyses to senior management. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making while promoting process efficiencies within the team.
* Produce management information packs to support business decision-making.
* Update monthly MI packs with data reconciliation to accounts.
* Prepare and submit balance sheet and P&L accounts to the group via AXA’s consolidation system.
* Conduct analytical reviews of accounts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
* Generate accruals and pre-payments along with relevant audit lead schedules.
* Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and rolling forecasts.
* Perform variance analysis to identify trends and insights.
* Create commentary schedules for management and group communications.
* Collaborate with business managers to ensure budget accuracy and suitability.
* Provide expert added-value analysis to support the senior management team
What you’ll bring:
* Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA).
* Previous experience in insurance or technical accounting is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
* Positive attitude with a desire to progress within the organization.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
