Kelvinhaugh Residences, Glasgow 35 hours per week
We’re looking for an Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our Accommodation Management team based in Glasgow. The team are responsible for the safe and smooth running of student accommodation. Your duties will include providing excellent customer service and ensuring the students have a great experience by planning student events and parties.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered and meets customer expectations
* Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with relevant individuals to ensure repairs are completed and customers informed
* Ensuring property inspections, health and safety and compliance checks are completed in line with legislation and policy
* Supervising a General Assistant and Caretaker, providing guidance, support and promoting the development of staff
* Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external customers
* Working with the wider team on monthly checks of buildings, raising repairs ensuring these are completed, completing inspections on void rooms, and carrying out health and safety checks
* Complaints management and raising purchase orders
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role supporting the delivery of high-quality accommodation or customer service is essential
* NVQ3 in relevant area (e.g., business administration, customer service) is desirable
* Some experience of providing administrative support services.
* Experience of managing staff within a customer facing environment
* Working knowledge of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Previous experience of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
