POSITION PURPOSE
Workshop Technician assists the Workshop team in maintaining, repairing, and servicing all Golf Courses and Estates maintenance equipment. This entry-level position is designed for someone looking to learn small engine repairs, hydraulics, robotics, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance in a hands-on outdoor environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Assist with routine maintenance, repairing and servicing of the machinery fleet.
* Husqvarna robotic mowers - installation, monitoring, maintenance and servicing.
* Assisting with the servicing and maintenance of equipment
* Perform basic preventative maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and blade sharpening
* Help with reel grinding, setup, and adjustment under supervision
* Learn to undertake basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* IT/Computer technical skill are essential.
* Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to understand and carry out instructions (essential).
* A willingness to learn
* Self-motivation and projecting a positive approach to work.
* Reliable.
* Flexibility with working hours.
* Good communication skills.
EDUCATION
* National 5 qualifications or the equivalent in both English and Mathematics. (Desirable )
* A desire to learn and a genuine interest in engineering.
* Driving license (desirable).
* Willingness to attend additional training courses as and when required
