Site Agent

At Ringway, our Site Agents play a vital role in keeping local highway networks safe, resilient and fit for the future. As a Site Agent, you will take ownership of delivering highway and structures works on site, leading teams with confidence and care while working closely with clients and partners.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience will directly shape how projects are delivered safely, sustainably and to a high standard. You will be supported by a wider operational team and encouraged to bring ideas, challenge constructively and develop your career with Ringway.
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of highway or structures schemes on site
* Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials to achieve agreed programmes
* Ensure works are delivered to the required quality, cost and environmental standards
* Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients, designers and stakeholders
* Promote a positive, inclusive and proactive safety culture on site
* Support commercial controls through accurate records, early warnings and good cost awareness
* Ensure compliance with Ringway processes, NEC contracts and statutory requirements
* Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a collaborative team environment
Key Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a Site Agent or similar site leadership role within highways or structures
* Strong understanding of health, safety and wellbeing requirements within construction
* Ability to plan, organise and prioritise works in a live highway environment
* Confident communicator who can build trust with clients, teams and supply chain partners
* Sound knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial awareness on site
* Technical understanding of highway or structures construction and maintenance
* A proactive and solutions focused approach to challenges on site
