Senior Enablement Worker (NHS Highland)
Based at the Dingwall Health Centre, Dingwall, IV15 9QS.
Job type: Permanent. Work schedule: 4 on 4 off working rotation. Band: 4 (31.10 per week).
Responsibilities
* Support and supervise a small group of workers within a defined geographical area.
* Assist multi‑disciplinary staff and Enablement Officers within the District Health and Social Care Integrated Team in delivering high‑standard enablement support to individuals and their families/carers.
* Maximise independence and support individuals to remain in their own homes.
* Undertake simple reviews of enablement plans and support enablement workers in adjusting and adapting plans where problems have been identified or client needs have changed (e.g., washing and dressing, mobility).
* Work independently to manage a designated caseload under the direction and instruction of the Enablement Officer.
* Work unsupervised on delegated duties, seeking advice and support from the Enablement Officer and the integrated team lead professional as required.
Requirements
* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council required within 6 months of commencing in post.
