About the role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure personalised learning plans are met.
* Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, adapting strategies to best support their individual needs.
* Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
Person specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEN in a Primary setting.
* Strong knowledge of strategies to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD or other additional needs.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach to teaching.
* A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
