Are you a hands-on, enthusiastic individual with great customer service skills and a can-do attitude? Our client who is a trusted name in carpet distribution for over 20 years – is looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join their friendly team in Fareham.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Acting as the first point of contact for visiting tradespeople – handling enquiries, complaints, orders, and collections.
* Taking phone calls and responding to customer emails.
* Picking and processing orders – working closely with the warehouse team
* Supporting day-to-day operations at the trade counter.
What We’re Looking For:
* Someone reliable, enthusiastic, and not afraid to think outside the box.
* A strong communicator with customer service or hospitality experience.
* A team player who’s also happy to get hands-on in the warehouse when needed.
* A proactive and solution-oriented mindset – you’ll often be the face of the business for visiting tradespeople.
