Solicitor / Legal Executive - Family - Exeter - PQE Flexible
Location: Exeter
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (36.25 hours per week)
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)
A well established regional law firm is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy Family & Matrimonial department. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload while developing your career within a supportive, client focused team.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload across a broad range of family law matters, including:
* Divorce and civil partnership matters
* Separation and cohabitation issues
* Family finance work
* Children matters (private law)
* Delivering exceptional client care
* Ensuring compliance with internal risk management procedures
* Keeping up to date with legal developments
* Building and maintaining professional networks and referrers
* Supporting departmental marketing and client relationship initiatives
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in family law (divorce, finance, children, separation, cohabitation)
* Strong client care skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to manage a caseload independently and reliably
* Good organisational and IT skills
* A positive, team focused attitude
* Knowledge of the legal aid system (desirable but not essential)
