Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse who loves helping little ones learn, play, and grow?
GSL Education is delighted to be working with a wonderful School based nursery setting in Southend-on-Sea, offering a fantastic opportunity for a passionate childcare professional to join their friendly team.
This is a long-term role, with full-time hours available (8:30am-3:30pm), in a setting that truly values its staff and celebrates every milestone in a child’s early learning journey.

About the Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll be part of a caring team dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5. You’ll plan engaging activities, support learning through play, and help children develop essential early skills.
Every day is different — full of laughter, curiosity, and those heart-warming “lightbulb” moments!

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Planning fun, creative, and educational activities
* Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for every child
* Observing and recording children’s progress and supporting their next steps

What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years ( CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* A caring, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
