About the Role
Arcare is seeking a Procurement Administrator to support the Procurement Manager in identifying and coordinating preferred suppliers for Arcare operations. The role involves administering a centralized database and contracts, working closely with organizational operations to deliver competitively priced and suitable products to meet the ongoing needs of Arcare clients.
Skills and Experience
1. Previous experience in a similar position (desirable)
2. Membership of a professional procurement association (advantageous)
3. Experience in the Aged Care industry (desirable but not essential)
4. Advanced skills in all Microsoft programs, especially Excel
5. Experience in contract management (desirable)
6. Proven ability to develop positive relationships to influence and negotiate change
7. Pragmatic and logical approach
8. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
9. High attention to detail
10. Proven decision-making ability with a strong work ethic
11. Reliable car and current Driver’s License, as travel is required
