Job Description
3. Lead and manage high‑value planned programmes and component replacement projects.
4. Ensure all properties consistently meet Decent Homes and statutory compliance standards.
5. Oversee day‑to‑day commercial, contractual and operational management of major suppliers.
6. Act as Contract Manager/Client Representative for partnering contracts.
7. Inspect contractor works, track performance and drive continuous improvement.
8. Take responsibility for capital budget management, forecasting, cashflow and reporting.
9. Support procurement activity in line with best value and organisational strategy.
10. Contribute to the Annual Investment Programme and wider asset management strategy.
11. Maintain accurate and compliant asset data across systems and databases.
12. Produce performance reports and improvement recommendations.
13. Build strong relationships with internal/external partners to support efficient delivery.
14. Drive problem‑solving, service improvement and collaborative working across teams.
The Successful Applicant
15. Significant experience in asset management, surveying or property investment within housing or similar environments.
16. Proven success managing capital programmes, contracts and budgets.
17. A relevant technical qualification
18. Strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
19. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
20. Ability to analyse complex data and make sound, evidence‑based decisions.
21. Competence in technical property issues, compliance and building standards.
22. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
23. Flexibility, initiative, and a problem‑solving approach.
