Operating from our 14 acre HQ site in East Yorkshire, we employ 65 staff. The majority of these are based in the immediate locality and we are a significant supporter of local community projects and institutions.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team, based in Market Weighton, East Yorkshire (YO43 3QX):
Role involves working on all makes and models of used trucks preparing them for resale in UK and export markets
HGV qualifications and experience in use of vehicle diagnostics would be advantageous
The role would suit technicians used to working in independent or own-account garages, and potentially also those in similar industries such as vehicle engineering, plant and agriculture
HGV Licence preferred, although not essential. xcswzye Forklift/Tele-Handler qualifications also useful
Key Details
We can offer the right person:
Basic salary of £18.96 - £21.01 per hour depending on experience and overtime rates paid
Standard working week of Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 4:15pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:15pm
22 days' paid holiday per year plus bank holidays, which increases with length of service
