Exciting 12-Month Opportunity – HR Assistant (Parental Leave Cover)
Location: Leatherhead Office | HR Shared Services Team
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant to join the Wates Group on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover parental leave. This role is based within our dynamic HR Shared Services Team at the Leatherhead office.
About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, highly organized, and looking to build on their HR experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong administrative skills—ideally gained in an HR setting—and confidence in using MS Office tools. Discretion and confidentiality are essential, along with a professional and proactive approach to your work.
We’re seeking someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ideally, someone studying towards or already holding a CIPD or similar qualification.
Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle in a timely and customer-centric manner.
* Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data across HR systems.
* Support the HR team with project work and operational delivery.
* Operate with discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
