As Music PR manager in our European communications team, you will be expected to lead and drive strategy, planning and execution of Apple's PR initiatives for Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV for Europe.
Description
You will be expected to be hands on, working day-to-day to engage with reporters and content creators in crafting stories about Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Apple TV that showcase its benefits to consumers. Responsibilities will encompass crafting and leading results-oriented PR programmes with music, entertainment, lifestyle, technology, national, broadcast and general business press; building new relationships with content creators; partnering with the editorial teams to develop product positioning, messaging and competitive analysis. The role will require you to travel to France and Germany on a regular basis, actively manage a network of European agencies, be highly organised and able to work under tight deadlines with a keen attention to details.
Finally, the role will lead on the publicity around the Apple Music radio stations, their shows and hosts but not Apple TV shows.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings.
You have extensive experience in media relations and working with content creators, and a deep understanding how people consume news and create opinions across social and classical media.
You are passionate about entertainment, culture, and consumer technology, and enjoy building formal and informal relationship networks with people of diverse backgrounds.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.
Have a strong team approach and influencing skills.
