Overview of the role

We are now very excited to grow that team further by hiring a new Operations Co-Ordinator to work in the team responsible for fielding operational queries as well as creating and placing purchase orders for customers.
What will you be doing?
* To handle queries from sales, customers, suppliers, and manufacturers
* Work closely with sales ensuring all orders are correct before processing
* To provide after sales support for queries that arise from deliveries completed, liaising with vendors and suppliers
* Negotiating with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusivity deals
* Completing Agreement paperwork with great attention to detail and sending to customers to sign
* Running and controlling customer price lists
* Running reports for our sales team

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have experience in an administrative role which involved purchasing responsibilities.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Good understanding of purchasing frameworks
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
* Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools and other software as required
* Ability to prioritise work under pressure, work without supervision and use initiative to ensure that deadlines are met
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors

Primary location is our HQ in Pocklington (YO42) on a hybrid basis

Following a screen with the Recruitment Manager you can expect a two-stage interview process

*Important* BPSS Check
As part of our recruitment process due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) check.
