Site Engineer - We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with commercial and civils experience for a development based in Epsom. You will be working for an international construction company with clients representing every market sector. Requirements: ·Instrument usage: Able to use EDM, Rotating laser level etc. as this will be required for as built surveys, QA, snagging etc. ·Spot checks to verify gridlines and datums etc. ·Efficient with construction management software programs i.e. Procore. We use tablets on site to record QA so will need to be able to use tablets/android. ·IT efficient, use of software programs, Microsoft programs, emails etc required. ·Good knowledge of design, drawings, details, specifications etc. ·Good knowledge on substructure, drainage, utilities etc. ·Managing all aspects of the works from substructure to superstructure and onto landscaping. ·Experience with CAD/DWG. ·Escorting NHBC, Premier Guarantee, Building Control etc during visits to site and ensuring all works are installed as per the design/spec prior to inspection. ·Attendance at weekly progress meetings, coming prepared on the status of the works, any issues delaying works etc. ·Attendance at daily briefings with all contractors and Bennett management to ensure the site runs smoothly and works are being coordinated with all involved. ·Experience with H&S standards, housekeeping, work permits etc. ·SMSTS and CSCS Offer: ·Working hours: 7.30am - 5.30pm. Saturday rota in place circa 1 Saturday every 4-6 weeks. ·Opportunity to move onto façades, roofing, if looking to progress into other fields and gain more knowledge on other aspects within the industry. ·Working with a leading contractor on a permanent basis.
