Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager required to join a leading provider of Fluid Transfer Solutions.
The successful Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager will work remotely covering UK-wide, responsible for key account management and new business development of fluid transfer products such as hydraulics, couplings, fittings and more via distribution channels and OEM customers.
The successful Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager will ideally have experience selling, or managing accounts within Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, couplings, fittings, hose assemblies, adapters, or similar MRO, Fluid transfer products/services.
Package
£50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager Role
Responsible for key account management and new business development of fluid transfer products such as hydraulics, couplings, fittings and more via distribution channels and OEM customers.
Work alongside the current Sales Director with a view to take over the companies largest key accounts and director duties within the next 2 years.
Identify and target new clients that can benefit from the fluid transfer / hydraulic product range on offer.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling Hydraulic Hoses and associated products/equipment.
Maintaining new fluid transfer sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Home-based, willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.
Key Account Manager/ Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
A minimum of 2 years of successful external sales experience within the fluid transfer / hydraulic.
Experience selling fluid transfer / hydraulic engineering equipment – Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, couplings, valves or similar products/services within the Fluid Power industry.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable Manufacturer, with a view to taking on the sales direct role within the next 2 years.
A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
