Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team based in the Baglan area.
Rate of pay: £12.71ph / £24,784.50p.a
Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm shifts
Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibilities:
Applying efficient labelling, filling, boxing, and palletising of bottled products, ensuring all items are prepared correctly and safely for transport
Collating and assembling products into packaging, and managing stock levels
Once trained, you will be expected to set up and use job-specific equipment, including pneumatic capping and filling machines
Working alongside the supervisor, you will start maintaining records, replenishing stock and planning future requirements based on orders, schedules and forecasts
Adhere to all health and safety aspects & correct any health and safety issues you identify and inform the managing director of themRequirements:
Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Punctual, reliable, and able to work well in a team
Flexible and willing to take on different tasks as needed
Able to use you own initiative to solve issues and improve processes
