Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
You’ll be developing new business opportunities through proactive telephone prospecting and building a strong pipeline of qualified prospects. This involves researching potential clients, understanding their fire safety needs, and positioning Ventro’s comprehensive solutions effectively.
Working from our Plymouth office, you’ll conduct client meetings, both face‑to‑face and via video conferencing. You’ll need to quickly identify client pain points, assess their current fire safety provisions, and present tailored solutions that meet their compliance requirements and budget constraints.
Customer service excellence is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll nurture long‑term partnerships with facilities managers, property developers, and public sector decision‑makers, ensuring repeat business and referral opportunities that drive sustained commission earnings.
You’ll also maintain accurate records in our CRM system, tracking opportunities through the sales cycle, and provide regular performance updates to your line manager while working towards individual and team targets.

Qualifications
* Proven track record in B2B sales with demonstrable results
* Excellent communication and presentation skills for client‑facing situations
* Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving abilities to identify client needs and propose solutions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
* Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regularly to client sites
Helpful Experience (Preferred)
* Previous sales experience in construction, M&E, and building services
* Background as a Sales Consultant in any industry
* Understanding of public sector procurement processes
* Knowledge of building regulations or compliance requirements
* Experience with long sales cycles and relationship‑based selling
* Customer service experience in face‑to‑face or telephone environments
