The Process Engineer role will suit someone who:
* Enjoys working in a varied and fast-paced environment
* Is confident using root cause tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and data analysis
* Wants to make a tangible difference in manufacturing standards
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead technical investigations and implement corrective actions to improve product quality
* Conduct statistical analysis of test failures and identify trends
* Collaborate with suppliers on special process approvals and procedural changes
* Support and improve their key manufacturing processes - forging
* Ensure documentation, test data and customer-specific requirements are met
* Assist with customer and internal audits to maintain compliance
* Own and manage technical reports and metallurgical requirements for key projects
What you’ll need:
* Proven experience in a process or quality-focused engineering role
* Knowledge of heat processes, ideally in alloys or metals
* Familiarity with technical standards and customer specifications
* Experience with root cause analysis tools and continuous improvement
* Strong organisational and communication skills
