Job Description
* Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
* Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts.
* Offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance.
* Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
* Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
* Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
* Managing budgets and producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
* Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation in the Business Services industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Proficiency in accounting software.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
* Experience working in the Business Services industry is advantageous.
