Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their vibrant team in Andover on a temporary basis. Responsibilities
* Picking and packing orders from stock with precision and care.
* Replenishing inventory levels on shelves and racking to keep our operations running smoothly.
* Ensuring all goods are stored safely and securely while complying with health and safety regulations.
* Accurately recording incoming stock to maintain correct totals and inventory levels.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area to foster a productive environment.
* Operating warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts, when qualified.
* Assisting with various warehouse duties as needed, contributing to our team spirit.
* Booking stock and deliveries using our warehouse computer system once trained.
* Managing outgoing orders and parcels through the required portals.
* Helping with line feeding replenishment of stock to keep everything in order.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Good numerical and literacy skills for accurate record-keeping.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards in your work.
* A valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
* Must be computer literate to navigate our systems efficiently.
