Brain Injury Support Worker Location: Durham Hours: 4-hour morning shifts, 7 days per week. Pay: £16 per hour weekdays, £17 per hour weekends. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence, be a confident driver and have access to your own vehicle. About the Client Our client is in his 40s with a brain injury and multiple orthopaedic injuries, following a road traffic accident. As a result, he has limited use of one arm and currently has passenger anxiety, so we are keen to onboard a Support Worker who can build a trusting relationship in hope to overcome this and take him to the gym and out in the community. Deliver personalized care and support to our client.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and eating.
Support client with his rehabilitation programme.
Accompany client to the gym and out in the community.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Valid UK driver's license.
