Job Title: Regional Sales Director / Operations Director
As a global, private equity-backed corporate business, we operate at pace with demanding customers in the construction, healthcare, and education markets. We are seeking a Regional Sales Director / Operations Director to oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England, demonstrating collaborative leadership, strategic awareness, and a balanced sales/operations background.

Job Description
Responsible for directing operational and strategic initiatives in your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving growth. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of implementing strategies, leading process transformations, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the P&L for 4-6 depot locations, circa £80 million, with £30 million EBITDA, overseeing teams focused on operations and sales.
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and indirect reports, emphasizing people development and succession planning.
* Implement sales strategies for profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
* Promote a safety-first culture, leading transformational change in safety, service, quality, cost, and delivery.
* Operate in a high-performance environment with high expectations from private equity owners.
Person Specification
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or related sectors (construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals) within larger corporations.
* Leadership of teams of 5-10 direct and 60+ indirect staff.
* Approachable, knowledgeable, and accountable management style.
* Control of a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
