Cardiff| Minimum 3 days a week in office Marketing at Capital On Tap This team owns our online marketing, SEO, AIO, customer communications, PR, social media, brand positioning, website, and any above-the-line activity. The Role We're looking for a ( Junior) CRM & Communications Officer to join our Marketing team in Cardiff. This is a more junior role for someone who wants to learn how modern marketing actually works, with the chance to work on campaigns going out to hundreds of thousands of real customers. You'll be working alongside our Growth Associate and Marketing Manager, learning how to build and send email and SMS campaigns, how to use data to target the right customers with the right message, and how to measure whether it's working. You'll be supported and trained, but you won't be handed a task list. What you'll be doing Build, test, and send email and SMS campaigns using our CRM platform, Customer.io. Draft and proofread communications, ensuring customer communications are clear and on-brand. Keep a content calendar across customer communications so nothing falls through the cracks. Work with teams across the business (Product, Operations, Credit etc.) to gather what customers need to know. Learn how to analyse campaign data, build audience segments, and run A/B tests to keep improving what we send. Help prepare performance reports and flag what's working and what isn't. What we are looking for We care more about how you think than what you've already done. Up to 12 months of any commercial experience is fine - the specifics matter less than the mindset. Genuine curiosity about how things work. Excellent writing. You care about words, you edit your own work, and your emails are clear and punchy. Comfort with data (you don't need to be technical, but numbers shouldn't scare you!) Clear drive to learn fast and take ownership of your work. Nice to have Experience with any CRM or email marketing platform is a big plus (e.g Customer.io, Braze, Hubspot), but a proactive willingness to learn is essential.
