We are recruiting for a nurse Team Leader who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse Team Leader to join the team on Swift at the Lister hospital, specialising in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, urology and ENT. The ward offers a varied learning experience and the ability to develop professionally.
Responsibilities
* Be part of the nursing team to provide a high standard of research-based care, support the team working in the area to deliver a quality service through a high standard of patient care and support, and deputise for the Senior Sister in charge of the ward.
* Support the senior sister in the provision of a planned and holistic programme of care for Swift ward.
* Provide leadership in developing, implementing and evaluating standards of care in line with evidence-based practice.
* Ensure best practice of infection prevention and control within ward providing a clean environment.
* With the senior sister, provide advice, support and leadership to all staff working in the area.
* Work in close collaboration with other professionals providing advice and expertise to patients and the multi-disciplinary team.
