Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (DevOps) to join our team at AWS. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be key in driving customer success through their cloud journey by providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing and delivering on-site technical engagements with customers and partners.
* Understanding customer security and compliance requirements, proposing security solutions, and building bespoke security offerings.
* Operating within enterprise security programs, developing security models in AWS, including IAM, logging, infrastructure security, data protection, and incident response.
* Leading the implementation of AWS services and security technologies, supporting application migrations and development.
* Working with AWS teams to provide feedback for technology roadmaps.
* Developing tools, services, and knowledge sharing artifacts to assist others.
Work Schedule & Travel: This is a customer-facing role requiring travel to UK client locations (3-4 days per week).
Qualifications:
* Experience as a technical consultant with Agile delivery (Scrum Master certification preferred).
* Minimum of an associate AWS certification.
* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is preferred.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Experience with modern application architecture and software development tools.
Preferred Skills:
* Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation.
* Professional AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional).
* Scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or GoLang.
