With continued demand for skilled electricians across the industry, the college is expanding its Electrical apprenticeship provision and is now looking for an experienced Electrical Assessor to join the team. In this role, you will manage a caseload of Electrical Installation apprentices, supporting them throughout their learning journey. You will carry out workplace visits, assess practical evidence, and provide coaching and mentoring to ensure learners successfully complete their apprenticeship standards. You will also work closely with employers and internal teams to ensure all elements of the apprenticeship programme, including Functional Skills and End Point Assessment preparation, are completed successfully. The ideal candidate will be an occupationally competent Electrician who holds an NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation and industry qualifications such as 18th Edition and Inspection and Testing. You will also hold an Assessor qualification. An IQA qualification is desired by experience would be considered.
