Purpose & Scope
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Executive / Senior Executive who supports the end-to-end execution of gas and LNG commercial trades, ensuring accurate operationalization, billing, reconciliation, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role acts as a key bridge between commercial intent and operational execution across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
* Support end-to-end operational execution of commodity trades, from contract execution to operationalization.
* Perform settlement reconciliation, backcharge processing, and support billing-related activities.
* Coordinate LNG cargo and inventory operations, including documentation, permits, and invoice verification.
* Manage truck loading operations, including submissions, operational queries, and billing processes.
* Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems, records, and operational reports.
* Support audit, compliance, and documentation requirements, ensuring proper audit trails and adherence to controls.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Billing, Procurement, Compliance) to ensure smooth operations.
* Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and digitalization initiatives.
* Support duty roster requirements, including after‑office hours, weekends, or standby duties to ensure continuous operational coverage.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree or Diploma in Business or Engineering related discipline
* At least 1 year of commercial operations management experience and dealing with counterparty operations in Natural Gas related environment is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
* Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple operational processes accurately.
* Strong analytical mindset, especially in reconciliation, billing, and data validation.
* Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Proactive and hands‑on, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues and follow through to resolution.
* Able to work in a fast‑paced environment supporting time‑sensitive operational activities.
* Comfortable working with systems and data, with good proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
* Team player with a collaborative mindset across functions such as Finance, Billing, and Procurement.
* Keen interest in energy, gas, or LNG commercial operations is an advantage.
