Food Preparation Assistant – Temporary Contract Berkeley Scott Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting a Food Preparation Assistant to support our clients busy retail food store on a temporary basis. Contract Details: Start Date: 5th January 2026 Duration: 1 month (ending 7th February 2026 ) Working Pattern: 5 days over 7 (set rota) Location - BS16 1QY Key Responsibilities: Preparation of bakery products, including pastries, hot food-to-go items, and impulse products such as doughnuts and cookies Putting away food deliveries and stock Assisting with stock ordering, including packaging supplies Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times Training: Full training provided from 5th January to 7th January 2026 Proposed Rota: Sunday: 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday: 6:30am – 2:30pm Wednesday: 6:30am – 2:30pm Friday: 6:30am – 2:30pm Saturday: 7:30am – 3:30pm Candidate Requirements: Previous food preparation or bakery experience preferred but not essential Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to early morning shifts Able to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards Why Work with Berkeley Scott: Weekly pay Full training and support Dedicated consultant support throughout the assignment If you are available for the full duration of the contract and interested in this opportunity, please apply today.
