Fencing Operative & Groundsman
Pay: National Minimum Wage – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 22.5 – 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, hours 7.30am–4pm)
Location: Based in/around Loughborough, travelling to sites with the team

We're looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Fencing Operative & Groundsman. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress within the business.
The Role
You'll support our fencing and grounds team with a variety of outdoor tasks, including:
* Assisting with fence installation (measuring, digging post holes, carrying materials, mixing/postcrete).
* Loading/unloading timber, tools, and equipment.
* Site preparation and general labouring.
* Helping with hedge trimming, site clear-ups, and basic grounds maintenance.
* Keeping work areas safe, clean, and organised.
* Driving company vehicles (under 3.5 tonnes) and towing trailers when required.
* Occasionally helping with deliveries or tool maintenance.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Holder of a full UK driving licence (willing and able to drive larger vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and tow trailers).
* Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, manual work in all weather.
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
* An excellent team worker – this is non-negotiable.
* Willing to develop skills across all areas of the business.
* Able to demonstrate our core company values at all times: quality, safety, teamwork, sustainability, and customer care.
* Previous fencing, landscaping, or labouring experience is helpful but not essential.
