Job Summary
Alys Beach is seeking an experienced Manager responsible for the daily operations of our private ZUMA Health and Wellness Center. The manager will oversee staff management, equipment maintenance, front desk operations, barista and food supplies, retail clothing, spa treatment protocols, and grounds maintenance. Providing elite customer service to homeowners and rental guests is essential. Additionally, the manager will handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and budgeting.
Job Responsibilities
* Staffing and scheduling the facility appropriately
* Inspecting all areas for cleanliness and sanitation
* Managing staff performance, schedules, and evaluations
* Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper operation
* Covering shifts as needed
* Encouraging member retention, promotions, and assisting with marketing campaigns by engaging with homeowners and guests
* Familiarity with all aspects of the Alys Beach community
* Overseeing the high-end wellness facility, including structural, pool, spa, racquet, cardio, and fitness areas
* Fostering respectful and positive relationships with all employees and upholding Alys Beach's core values
* Maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor under stress
Job Requirements
* High School diploma required; college degree in a related field or business preferred
* 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-end resort or community
Essential Job Functions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Office
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to collaborate with marketing, sales, town operations, and guest services
* Knowledge of accounting principles for financial reporting and budgeting
* Effective people management skills
* Strong interpersonal skills to create exceptional wellness experiences for owners and guests
Preferred Skills
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* Experience with Jonas software for spa services, reservations, retail, and POS
* Facilities management experience
