Then look no further! The Wilf Ward Family Trust have a great opportunity for you to join our team at one of our registered services, Stakesby Road. As a Support Worker you will provide person centred support for three individuals who have complex health needs and learning disabilities at their home, which is in the seaside town of Whitby.
No two days are the same, the individuals we support require and receive 100% support in all aspects of their lives.
Some day-to-day tasks include:
* Personal care.
* Meal preparation.
* Monitoring, recording, and administering medication.
* Assistance with mobility.
* Accompanying individuals to a range of activities including cinema trips, shopping, eating out, arts and crafts, and swimming.
You should be an effective communicator be prepared to use different communication tools and methods and follow the lead of the person you're communicating with, as we have a variety of different communication styles...
