Overview
Newingate School is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and kind people to join our dedicated and highly effective team as a Teaching Assistant. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a passion and genuine interest for working with children with SEND, as well as being patient and resilient. The role will be challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
Responsibilities
The role will involve supporting a range of students across the school as required. TAs are encouraged to lead on aspects of provision including specified interventions, enrichment activities and cover PPA or Teacher absences. Development and qualifications
Ongoing development and professional learning will be provided based upon your own development needs and the requirements of the school to ensure that students are being supported by skilled and knowledgeable professionals. The successful candidates will be educated to at least GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths or equivalent and ideally have appropriate experience of working with children in an educational setting.
