As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a Trainee Router Operator to join our production team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone practical, motivated, and eager to learn specialist manufacturing skills in a modern production environment.
No previous router experience is essential — full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Trainee Router Operator, you’ll work alongside experienced team members to learn how to produce precision-cut components used in high-quality signage and display systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Learning to operate CNC routing machinery safely and efficiently
* Assisting with cutting aluminium, acrylic, foamex and other signage materials
* Preparing materials for production runs
* Loading and unloading machinery
* Carrying out quality checks on finished components
* Supporting machine maintenance and daily cleaning
* Reading job sheets and production drawings
* Assisting other departments when required
* Maintaining a clean and organised working area
As your skills develop, you’ll be trained to independently operate routing equipment and contribute to more complex production work.
