Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated midwife to join as a CTG Champion/Patient Safety Midwife at Royal Oldham Hospital. This full-time role involves delivering education, reviewing care, participating in audits, and providing clinical support to promote safety and excellence in intrapartum care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver education and training on foetal monitoring to enhance team skills and standards
* Review care related to foetal monitoring to ensure best practices
* Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Additional Responsibilities
* Lead in clinical governance activities, including incident reviews and practice audits
* Develop and present audit findings to drive improvements
* Work seamlessly across teams to foster a culture of safety and continuous learning

Applicant Requirements
Must hold UK NMC registration as a Midwife and a degree/diploma in Midwifery. Desirable: Leadership training, CTG masterclass, audit, and QI experience. Essential skills include leadership, communication, time management, and team working.
