Our Nursery
Busy Bees in Glasgow Lenzie is a brand-new, state-of-the-art nursery. This newly built, two-storey nursery has five age specific rooms that are well equipped for children aged from 3 months to 5 years old. With 90 available spaces, Busy Bees Lenzie offers a bright and airy space for children to grow and learn. Our wonderful team of passionate qualified early years educators support children throughout their developmental journey, giving them the best start in life!

Key Responsibilities And Expectations As An Apprentice
* Involvement in planning stimulating activities for children in line with the Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition
* Assisting in delivering a high quality of childcare and maintaining a professional, positive outcome for children and staff
* Building effective relationships with children, parents and team members
* Ensuring each child's individual needs are met
* Contributing to the safeguarding of all children
* Working towards the apprenticeship standards provided by Busy Bees Education and Training with an expected completion within the agreed timeframe
* Being enthusiastic and proactive in developing your own skills within the workplace
* Demonstrating commitment to continued professional development
* Communicating with your line manager regarding activities and progress
As an Apprentice, you will be mentored by qualified staff, attend bespoke Learning & Development courses, and have a Development Coach visit regularly to support your progress.
To apply you must be working or caring for children (voluntary or paid). Having a Level 2 in Early Years, Maths and English grade C/4 or above or a Functional Skills Level 2 is desirable.
