Overview We are seeking skilled, reliable, and adaptable Freelance Chefs to join our event-based culinary teams across major stadiums in London and Brighton. This role is ideal for chefs who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments and enjoy working across a range of matchday, concert, and hospitality events.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food to high standards during stadium events.
Work across various kitchen sections including banqueting, fine dining, VIP hospitality, retail kiosks, and large-scale production .
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and allergen management practices at all times.
Follow menu specifications and guidance from Head Chefs and Sous Chefs.
Support with stock management, mise en place, and kitchen organisation.
Collaborate effectively with large, diverse kitchen teams during high-pressure service periods.
Uphold venue and contractor brand standards to ensure a consistent customer experience.
Ensure efficient clean-down procedures at the end of service.
Requirements Minimum 2 years' professional kitchen experience (stadium, events, banqueting, hotels, or high-volume catering preferred).
Strong understanding of food safety (Level 2 Food Hygiene required; Level 3 preferred) .
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality dishes at scale.
Must supply own chef whites, safety shoes, knives, and basic tools.
Punctual, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different teams and kitchen environments.
Right to work in the UK.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and matchdays .
Preferred Experience Previous work in stadium, arena, festival, or large-event catering .
Knowledge of allergen protocols and large-scale batch cooking .
Experience in hospitality suites, corporate dining, or fine-dining plating .
