Join Lancashire County Council as the Registered Children's Home Manager (Dual Homes) in the Children’s Residential Service, Preston. Salary £51,357 - £55,613 per annum. Permanent, Full Time, 37 Hours Per Week.
Responsibilities
As part of the Residential Leadership Team, this position involves overseeing the daily operations of two Children’s Homes, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Dual Registered Manager leads and mentors two teams of Residential Childcare Workers, supported by four Deputy Managers.
The role requires strong leadership and communication to support the well‑being and development of our children, along with excellent organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience
* A passion for working with children and a commitment to their well‑being.
* QCF5 or NVQ5 Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in the management of a Children's Home.
* Experience at a managerial level to develop a high performing team.
* Driving license and access to a vehicle – this is an essential car user post.
