Job Description
My Client is seeking an Accountant to manage the firm’s finance function.
As part of the management team you will be responsible for managing the firm’s finance team, focusing on preparing management reports, cashflows, budgets and other management information required by the Partners. You will also advise the Partners on all financial issues that will affect the firm.
You will have experience of staff management, solicitor's accounts rules and the production of financial and management accounts. Additionally, you will have experience of developing people, systems and information to enhance both financial control and performance.
You should be a qualified or part-qualified member status of accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and have expert knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and financial compliance regulations.
You will oversee a team of 4 in Accounts and the firm has around 60 people in total.
This role is office based, working 9am-6pm.
