Role
* Planning and delivering engaging and interactive Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Teaching a range of topics within the Computer Science curriculum, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and digital literacy.
* Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and ensure all learners are challenged and supported.
* Integrating technology and real-world applications into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
* Implementing effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals.
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the Computer Science curriculum, resources, and teaching materials.
* Participating in extracurricular activities, coding clubs, and STEM initiatives to enrich students’ learning experiences and develop their digital skills.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science education.
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scratch.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of all students.
