We are over-subscribed and will have over 600 pupils in the school by September 2024. The school enjoys a positive reputation in the community, as evidenced by the high demand for Year 7 places in September 2024. The students demonstrate respect, motivation and good behaviour in their learning. The school's vision is to provide an education system that truly serves those it educates by always reflecting on and addressing individual needs, strengths, and interests. There is a Specialist Resource Base on site for around 12 pupils, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. You will: support students to learn effectively in the classroom following direction from the class teacher invigilate exams and tests assist escorting pupils on educational visits assist with break time supervision including facilitating games and activities communicate with pupils to support learning and development and encourage acceptable behaviour exchange information with staff and parents/carers work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff support pupils to understand instructions support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils support the teacher in behaviour management and keeping pupils on task.
